Sad Sad Tonga - Akilisi Movement has killed people

James, I did read your other post and its good but all these other threads have taken my time hehe.

You are correct, its time to start to looking at the future but that also includes holding those responsible for what happened and understanding the issue in its entirety from both sides and all perspective.

In so doing a degree of wisdom can be obtained and a deepening of understanding of the two sides can be realized as both sides are going to have to come together at some point. Though I do not believe those who instigated the riot will be part of that but then again stranger things have happened. Its really not all the uncommon for yesterdays criminal to become tomorrows hero but I do not believe that will happen here.

I liked your idea of people owning the land but that may not happen for many reasons and is something maybe you could start a topic on its on as its such a complex thing it could get easily lost in the thread its in.

Global warming is also a very complex thing and that would also be deserved of its own thread.

Definitely lets talk about those issues and others. Discussing the positives and negatives of change can be a positive thing and we all might end up learning something hehe.

Sad Sad Tonga - Akilisi Movement has killed people

Thats if Akilisi will be voted back in to Parliament! As a Tongan citizen, my vote is going to Meli Visa. He is about the only hardworking non corrupt profile in Tonga. He spends his time cleaning up the waterfront for free.
Because after all is said and done both the Demo(n)s and the Govt lacked appropriate leadership. They have shown themselves up to be spineless and gutless.
Exodus

dobra bylo pieknie, ładnie a teraz nadchodzi wasz EXODUS, AAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Cytat:Alright people, I'm not THAT cruel, enough of the suspense! It's been hard for me and all the boys to hold back on the info for this long, but it's time to let everyone in on the particulars. The album is titled " The Atrocity Exhibition... Exhibit A ". And the track listing is as follows.

1 A Call To Arms
2 Riot Act
3 Funeral Hymn
4 Children Of A Worthless God
5 As It Was, As It Soon Shall Be
6 The Atrocity Exhibition
7 Iconoclasm
8 The Garden Of Bleeding
9 Bedlam 123

Why Exhibit A you might ask? Because we already have four songs recorded and finished for the next album, which we will resume recording some time around the end of the year, and this is a two part record. Part two being exhibit B. So yes, there will be another Exodus album finished hopefully soon after the release of this one. And when all is said and done, there will never have been anything as brutal and genre defining done before in thrash metal. An epic monster this one is, and the next is going to take it even further.
So there it is, no more secrets! Discuss!

SZATANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN :solo :guns

pierwszy raz...

Ach, pamiętne "Everyday I love You Less And Less"! Pierwsze co pomyślałam to "what the fuck is going on?!" i od razu się zakochałam w Kajzersach. Następnie "Oh My God", "I Predict A Riot", "Modern Way". Rok później pojechałam już drugi raz do UK i kupiłam sobie Employment'a. Następnie Enjoyment, ich wspaniałe DVD <3

Trwam już przy nich od 2005 roku. I mam zamiar to robić dalej (((;

Czego słuchają forumowicze, i ogolna dyskusja o muzyce!

"One nation under a groove" Funkadeliców jest po prostu wyżerające, każdy z sześciu (a nawet dziewięciu) utworów jest genialny (no, może poza "Into you").

Curtis Mayfield - Super Fly
Sly & The Family Stone - Stand!
Sly & The Family Stone - There's A Riot Going On
Funkadelic - Uncle Jam Wants Yoy
Funkadelic - One Nation Under A Groove
Parliament - Funkentelechy vs. The Placebo Syndrome
Parliament - Motor Booty Affair
Parliament - Mothership Connection

Ktoś tu słucha w ogóle takiej muzyki czy wszyscy rock and rollowcy i metalowe głowy?

Hip Hop

Cytat: Poleci ktoś jakieś dobre funkowe płyty, z którymi warto się zapoznać?

Funkadelic - Maggot Brain, One Nation Under a Groove
Parliament - Mothership Connection, Funkentelechy Vs. the Placebo Syndrome
Sly & the Family Stone - There's a Riot Goin' On
Prince - Purple Rain (synkretyczny album, ale mocno inspirowany funkiem)
I James Brown, o którym wspominał benek - obowiązkowo.

...co dziś?..stało się..

Cytat: Patrick Wolf has denied that he is quitting music, despite a posting that he would on his messageboard.

As previously reported Wolf posted on that he was to play his final gig in November and then quit the music industry for good.

He posted: "My final concert will be this November. I am not sure whether there will be anymore public communications after that. In fact, I am pretty sure there will be none."

However, Wolf has now told Pitchfork that the message was just meant for his online community and surprised when it reached a wider audience.

"I never said I was quitting music, and second of all, I never did it in a public way... For me to say I was going to quit music is like saying I'm going to commit suicide," he said. "It's the most extreme thing that could happen in my life. That would make me miserable, so I would never say I was quitting music, because I would never know where to start."

He said the message he was intending to get across that he was not going to tour as much or do as many interviews in future.

He added he is currently working on new music: "I've got so many projects... I've got this double record...It might be called 'Hard Times' and I might be working with Alec Empire and Atari Teenage Riot."

Wolf is to release 'The Magic Position' in the US on May 1.

projekt z alec'iem empire?moze być ciekawie.

Funk (temat ogólny)

W kwestii czystego funku jestem zielony, bo jedyny funk, z którym miałem do czynienia, to brzmienie oldschoolu. Postanowiłem więc trochę się zapoznać i ostatnio przerabiałem Jamesa Browna ("20 All Time Greatest Hits!" i "Star time" - jakiś czteropłytowy składak), a dzisiaj biorę się za "One nation under a groove" Funkadelic. Czemu akurat Funkadelic? Ano dlatego, że ojciec często mi wspominał o Funkadelic i Parliamencie, a poza tym ostatnio słuchałem "Dare iz a darkside" Redmana i tam strasznie często pada nazwa Funkadelic, więc postanowiłem obadać, co to za ustrojstwo.

E: A dobra, zaszaleję sobie i sprawdzę kilka rzeczy. W kolejce:

Sly & The Family Stone - Stand!
Sly & The Family Stone - There's A Riot Going On
Funkadelic - Uncle Jam Wants Yoy
Funkadelic - One Nation Under A Groove (już słucham i brzmi genialnie)
Parliament - Funkentelechy vs. The Placebo Syndrome
Parliament - Motor Booty Affair

Polecam.

the plague of political correctness and other shit...

i think this p.c. and other nonsense like it, are the a plague to europe, and are destroying in some way, our civilization...
look for example what happened in UK, when they for a long time for chrismas don't even say merry christmas, but happy seasons and other bullshit, because they don't want to hurt feeling of moslems and others...
or look what happened few years ago in france, when some young french, performed a riot... destroyed property of other people, attacked policemen, like a bunch of barbarians... i call them terrorists...
what happened?
the media transformed a group of criminals and terrorists, to victims...

there are many other examples, just look around you...

now my question is, wtf is going on? how far this will go?

_my personal opinion is, that this will end in total negation of our european civilization, and transforming it to some degenerated barbarism...

//sorry for my bad english, but i think you guys know what im talking about...

Bullshit. They highlighted the causes of this behaviour, this has jack shit to do with political correctness but with solid logical thinking. Just going 'OMG they're a bunch of terrorists' isn't going to solve anything, you know.

Doomsday

Saw it last night and loved it. There wasn't really anything original in the whole movie. They took Escape from New York and smashed it together with Road Warrior and 28 Days Later. I don't just mean stuff was inspired, almost every scene was a copy of famous scenes from those movies. But it was done surprisingly well. And having a chick as the hero was only an advantage. No man can live up to Snake Plissken or Max Rockatansky.

There are tons of plot holes and minor annoyances, but that's to be expected from something like this. Like how did they not hear the bikes and shit right ontop of them (you'll know what scene I'm talking about), or how the fuck did that car run after sitting in a box for 12 years? If you let a car sit for a year in a garage without starting it once in a while, that fucker isn't moving without changing all the fluids and you're still gonna have to deal with cracked gaskets. Besides that, the movie is a riot from start to finish.

My only major complaint is how they totally copped out on showing the "war" going on between the medieval dudes led by Malcolm Mcdowell and the crazy cannibal bikers. I wanted to see swords and maces and dudes in ancient armor vs. shotgun weilding mohawk-wearing lunatics. Overall, good stuff. There's probably gonna be a sequel.

Boy, 8, fatally shoots self with Uzi at gun show

Cytat:
Yeah, you could also die in a plane crash or getting killed by a car accident. Which is more likely.

Cytat:
Chances that someone breaks into your house are quite low in Germany. Chances that they have a gun are probably even lower.

Cytat:
A full-scale riot would be fun, I guess. I wonder why it doesn't really happen from time to time. I mean, look at the french.

Id rather avoid it personally. However someone on the higher up seems to think dark days might be approaching.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/11/30/AR2008113002217.html

"The U.S. military expects to have 20,000 uniformed troops inside the United States by 2011 trained to help state and local officials respond to a nuclear terrorist attack or other domestic catastrophe, according to Pentagon officials."

I am telling you 2012... there is gonna be some wicked shit going down. The Mayans might have had something going with that calender .

New Fallout 2 animations (sniper, wakizashi, etc)

The FRMs are completed for every armour type the player can wear including the FOT environmental armour, but they are not done for the NPC models.

Like I said though I do need to redo the Riot gun to include that effect I were just going to add it as a projectile in the Misc art folder.

Other weapons you can add to your project are 'kick enhancers' so you can make hand to hand more useful and damaging by letting the players kick do more damage (think knuckle duster for your feet). No animations required but not done in FO/FO2

Tickets Polonia-Legia

Cytat: allthough we must say that it sometimes happens that it's hard to get the tickets - i.e. for very popular matches

Cytat: I'm sure You know the meaning of "k.u.r.w.a" And trust me, this word in comparison with "Legia" is enough for derby

This is one of the only polish words, that I already know Another abbreviation: CH.W.D.P...."Polish riot mentality" is becoming more and more popular in East Germany. Sometimes really ridiculous.

But what I can't understand: if German teams play against their k.u.r.w.a.'s (f.e. Erfurt for Jena or Mainz/Frankfurt/Mannheim for Kaiserslautern)...people are so motivated! Lots of people want to see these matches (because of the "event" or because of old rivalries)...I really can't imagine why it is so easy to get tickets. The ranking is not an excuse

Anyway...

Today I've heard that 2 of us won't come to Warszawa. Ok, these were the two less football-orientated guys....but for me and my friend it could be difficult to come to Warszawa alone. But we try to (and when not we are going to see Polonia in Extraklasa season 06/07 )

Suicidal Tendencies & Infectious Grooves

A quick update!
The new STuff is sounding great. We're real excited at how it's all come together.
Paul Northfield flew home and we're gonna live with the tracks for awhile, and he'll be back next month to make any changes and do the final mixes.
We've been getting a lot of emails about the title of the record. We have a couple ideas for title and artwork, but we're gonna wait till the music is all done and deal with it then.

The live DVD footage is looking insane! The editing is coming along great and what we've seen so far is killer!

As for Infectious, we started work back on the new IG. Steve is now on tour in Indonesia (be safe), and Ron(playing drums with Stanley Clarke) just got back from India etc. Dean's been throwing down some sick new guitar work and when Steve gets back he'll finish his bass.
There's always some other craziness going on at STudio, we'll fill you in on the newest artist and releases on Suicidal Records shortly.

Lastly, we looking for a couple people that were at the Olympic show. The couple that was filming the Riot police after the show and the guy that had filmed the cops a couple blocks away from the Olympic putting on the riot gear, please email us.
Or if you or anyone else you know has footage outside the Olympic, please email us and let us check it.
New work to the site coming soon. Next STudio update at the end of the month.

Smoke crack and worship EXODUS

Veteran San Francisco Bay Area thrashers EXODUS have set "The Atrocity Exhibition... Exhibit A" as the title of their new album, due this fall via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD was recorded at Sharkbite Studios in Oakland, California with producer Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, MACHINE HEAD, NEVERMORE, ARCH ENEMY).

"The Atrocity Exhibition... Exhibit A" track listing:

01. A Call To Arms
02. Riot Act
03. Funeral Hymn
04. Children Of A Worthless God
05. As It Was, As It Soon Shall Be
06. The Atrocity Exhibition
07. Iconoclasm
08. The Garden Of Bleeding
09. Bedlam 123

With regards to the album's title, EXODUS guitarist Gary Holt said, "Why 'Exhibit A', you might ask? Because we already have four songs recorded and finished for the next album, which we will resume recording some time around the end of the year, and this is a two-part record. Part two being exhibit B. So yes, there will be another EXODUS album finished hopefully soon after the release of this one. And when all is said and done, there will never have been anything as brutal and genre-defining done before in thrash metal. An epic monster this one is, and the next is going to take it even further."

EXODUS will embark on a North American headlining tour in January/February. Support on the trek will come from GOATWHORE, ARSIS and WARBRINGER. Tickets are available exclusively through EnterTheVault.com until September 4 at which point they will be available through all normal ticketing outlets.

Holt recently released his first-ever instructional DVD, "A Lesson in Guitar Violence", through Zaentz. The disc, which contains never-before-seen live footage from 1985 at the Dynamo Club in Holland, can be ordered at The Exodus Store.

National Pride. National Shame.

The Tongan government may have its problems and issues but they are slowly addressing them.

I am going to speak of a better man than me, Alaa Al Aswany.

He is an Egyptian dentist and novelist. "The Yacoubian Building" and came to my attention via an article in the National Geographic September 2006 edition.

anyways the part I find rather prevalent is that he asked about how he would compare Europeans to Americans. He says Europeans have many more traditions, because they come from very old cultures. It's like comparing a young person to an old one. The old person doesn't accept change. But the American experience is based on change.

Tonga is an old culture and as such I believe it takes on the aspect of Europe in the discussion and thus change is difficult even if its agreed.

The changing of a government is not simple nor easy. The reverberations of such a thing is deep and often results in new policies and laws that some will favor and others not. Indeed it is painful and to expect things to go fast is unrealistic.

The fact many may want change does not equate to the many understanding the big picture and what issues to expect and what issues may happen.

Now, toss in the actions of the riot and things get even more complicated with one side showing a precedence for violence. Once could draw a comparison to some of the ongoing in Iraq as not all the violence is done by al-quada but by factions vying for power and civil war.

People need to realistically understand the process, a road map needs to be outlined with the public having knowledge of the issues and potential issues and work cohesively together to achieve the ends. No side will ever get all what it wants. Its about compromise and understanding. One side threatening the other only installs barriers in the process and can outright stop the process of going forward.

Sometimes when people disagree they forget that everyone is really on the same side. Differing views and opinions does not change ones humanity. All sides have morality that wants to see people flourish, all sides love their families, all sides only want the best to happen. When a side allows their views and opinions to forget that is when things go wrong and this is what happened.

The riot was not about democracy, it was about one side losing their morality. No true leaders can from such a thing and I am personally saddened as it has bloodied the concept of democracy. But I attest once again, democracy was the excuse and in reality it is about those who lost their morality.

Sad Sad Tonga - Akilisi Movement has killed people

Cytat:Don't forget to include in the list Dr. Langikavaliku, Dr. Sione 'Amanaki Havea and the late Bishop of the Catholic Church, Prof. Futa Helu, Na'a Fiefia, Sione Latu Kefu, etc. who started off this so call DEMO Movement in the late 70's and the early 1980s. Their Convention in 1992 had given 'Akilisi and the late comers the initiatives and stregth to push this movement forth, what they had left undone ko e 'uhii ko e pule aoniu 'ae 'Eiki ki he'enau mo'ui. Had they still be alive they would still be in the forefront!! And there would still be blood shed.

I'm not negating the contributions of those who came before Akilisi but it makes sense to question why some of his close allies from the beginning have shifted their stance against the "Akilisi Movement" as of recent.

And isn't it just so convenient for most of his followers to hide behind the push for 'Democracy' as if it was some credible excuse to provoke unrest and chaos!

Let's make one thing clear, MOST if not ALL of us want our Government to be accountable to the people.

That we as the average Tongan can go about our lives feeling confident that the power to make decisions within Government rests squarely with those who we VOTED to represent us.

Personally, I very much align myself closely with what one of those church leaders said on TV after the riot: ‶…. ‘Oku lelei ‘a e Temokalati ‘iate ia pē. Ka ‘oku ‘ikai fakatonuhia’i ‘e he Temokalati ‘a e moveuveu na’e hoko ……”

I'm sure most will agree that Dr. Havea, Pisope, Tu'ipelehake etc etc would've echoed exactly the same message condemning such acts of disorder and unnecessary chaos.

The point is, as I've written in another forum, Akilisi presented his views as an ultimatum with a sense of urgency, fully aware that he had strong support from the crowd standing around outside the Parliament House that day.

'Akilisi is the single most influential character in that pack, without a doubt Akilisi is their leader. Now, if there was one person the crowd was going to blindly look up to - it would definitely have to be Akilisi. Akilis is who everyone including those idiots that thrashed the CBD listens to.

The movement is very much Akilisi’s own and he should take some responsibility for what happened.

Don't you think that the so called "Akilisi Movement" as you called it shed less blood than the "Tupou I Movement for Power" where he slain with his own hands hundreds of Tonga people? What do you call that? Greed for Power or what? 'Akilisi doesn't want to be King! He just want JUSTICE for all Tongans through a more Democratic Monarchy Gov't!!

'Ofa atu moe Lotu,
Sionoa mei Tonga

Where was the Tonga Defence Force?

Doesn't Tonga have some type of emergency unit set ups for disasters such as the riot? and if they do, why wasn't a state of emergency put into place earlier when the crowd at Pangai si'i started to get ugly?

again, interesting stuff you got going here oz!!

PT"s Soapbox

*tackles Strength down and stays on top of him*...what did you say? LOL HAHAHAHA gosh I feel like egghead...playing rugby...HAHAHAHAHAHA I was a little busy with training and now just doing laundry....and other duties that wait til the weekend to be done at once.

LOL@feleni...too funny! Gosh you got me wanting some faikakai now. Which reminds me...my aunt is selling curry plates but I forgot to call her and tell her since I love me some roti...YUMMMY...My uncle is making it so it should be good since I'm always grubbing on it when we go to their house....

HOM.......how are you doing? Your daughter is definitely a beauty.....when are you going to come visit our boring town again? LOL Your cousin is a riot when I talk to her....and it's usually in the hallway of church....LOL

Aphroz......Sorry it said lost signal and then I knocked out after we talked yesterday....LOL I got in a quick nap before running to practice....LOL Glad I got a chance to catch up with you!

LMAO@Ji....that would definitely put a damper on things let alone wondering if you're going to make it or not from the stab wound....LOL Some people are wound up too tight these days and should enlist in an anger management class....LOL How you been JI? Anything exciting happening on your end? Nothing much happening here!
School is almost in and now learning that anothe brother is moving to Utard is beginning to scare me....reason is, that's my mom's baby...her favorite so if he moves....she might always want to be up in Utard...LOL And then we'll get the "you should move up here sis, it'll be good for the kids"....LOL What is it about Utard? Hmmm...

Nothing much on my end but costumes and more costumes....geez...I think this planning is stressing me out more than the other leaders...LOL The girls will be performing at the end of the month and we're trying to get everything done since the bishop suggested that it was far more important to focus on the spirituality of the children than the performance and you know what? I totally agree with him but now that the "Pioneer Trek" is over with, we're trying to focus on the performances...What to do? LOL

And that's my little dilemma at the moment.....

Hope you guys have a great weekend. *group hugs and pinches strength's buns*....LOL

Overview from Ministry HC (r16), and my resignation from all

Okay first off all, thanks for appreciating me as a friend and as an ally fido, I must say I have never regretted leaving OuZo for Ministry, and it always has been good fun.

However you are crossing the line a bit. You feel betrayed you say? How do you think we feel? We are fighting against odds we cannot win. We are trying our best to keep up for those who havent given up yet. I can understand that you can't be here all round if you have RL issues to attend. But please, why bitch to people when you get back after those days. People like Kree, who is doing his hardest effort to keep the show running a bit for those who dont want to give up, deserve some respect and you should know that.

He is putting all effort into keeping Ministry, what tbh IS and always WILL be your alliance. No matter if you want to be affiliated with it or not. You can't deny your history.

I respect you as a friend and as a person, so don't consider this as a personal attack. I'm just kinda unhappy at the way your throwing out the dirty laundry and slag some people off out of nowhere.

Mistakes have been made maybe, but in the end we're all humans, not Đragon bot armies. So just learn to forgive, instead of getting all cocky of yourself.

My loyalty will always lay towards The Ministry, whenever Akkalabeth, Bluearmy, Oiva, Tesla or who ever asks me to play a round, I won't decline. Might not be too active, but I will help out, because it's MY alliance to. You can't just turn your back against it.

Do you really thinking going to play for a different alliance solves everything? As if they would trust you 100 %. You have your Ministry history, in the end you won't be trust fully anywhere else.

For rounds that you can't be here all the time, leave the political descisions and shit to the people who were here. Don't come back whenever you feel like it to throw stuff around and cause a riot.

I hope you get my point, once again, don't see this as a personal attack, your still a friend to me. Just get your act together mate, it's for your own good.

Patrick Wolf

Cytat: Pitchfork: So you're still planning to write and record music, and for a long time?

PW: I've got so many projects. I've got this double record.

Pitchfork: Do you have a name for it?

PW: There are two working titles. I'll just give you one. I've done a lot of research, and my new inspiration is England in 1666, like during the Plague and the Great Fire. It reminds me of times right now in the world. It's going to be a lot more realistic than a lot of my work before and very much trying to tackle some current affairs in my own way. I realize Joni Mitchell's doing her political record, [so] it's maybe time for me to pull my finger out and join the army. It might be called Hard Times, like the Dickens book, and I might be working with Alec Empire from Atari Teenage Riot. I met him the other night in Berlin, and there's definitely some musical inspiration going on.

Pitchfork: Is it going to be a concept album using the 1666 England comparison?

PW: No, I think in the same way that the first album used werewolves and Eastern European folklore, this is really-- some of the metaphors I'll be using are a little more medieval, Elizabethan, and pagan. There's no manners to the record at all, kind of going back to the time when there were no toilets and you just poo in the street and there were diseases everywhere, because it's kind of a bit like that now, in many places. I went to the London Dungeon really drunk one time and got a lot of inspiration for songs.

Pitchfork: And it's going to be a double album?

PW: Well, there are two albums. So maybe it's going to be two separate albums, two albums at the same time, like a double release. Both are written, lyrically. One of them is going to be orchestral: extremely beautiful and celebrating neuroses and mental breakdowns. [The other will be] hard and techno and almost like death metal.

I think within electronic music there's too much politeness in the last five years, and it's become maybe too much of a lifestyle accessory. So I want to take it back into a digital hardcore world, but I still have the songs to match the beats, so I'm very excited to start working on it. And the orchestral project is going to be huge, of course, because it's going to be like me making a symphony, so that's going to take a lot of time. I won't be able to do shows during that time.

"One Day...

Oblivion out today

I saw the captain of the guard of Skingrad pickpocket a beggar the other day. It's not what they intended, sure, but I actually prefer the AI to be crazy and unpredictable. It makes the game more interesting, and after all, if I'm simultaneously saving the world AND looting and slaughtering everything, I like the fact that my behavior is mirrored in the citizens of the game world. The main thing I'm hoping will come out of the modding community is an AI mod that will make everyone into complete lunatics. The things that Bethesda mentioned in interviews as "bugs" and reasons to tone down the game, like guards stealing food and then attacking each other and dragging the whole town into a riot - that's exactly the kind of stuff I want in the game.

In Thief: Deadly Shadows, the funniest and most interesting parts of the game were when I sneakily started a conflict or when two factions met and commenced to have a never-ending battle while civilians ran around screaming "Aaaaaaahhhh don't kill me!!!" - I loved it, and it only became better when a few oil flasks and/or some fire were added to the mix. The potential for that type of unpredictable madness was the main thing that caught my interest for Oblivion. It fits perfectly too: The emperor is dead and there's no heir, bandits and goblins and monsters are everywhere, daedra are invading the land, killing and destroying everything in their path; I sure as hell wouldn't be going about my daily routine if that were happening! Let's see some chaos!

Most games follow a more or less predicatible path - there might be a twist in the story, or some unique type of enemy that catches you the first time you encounter it, but most games never surprise you - they follow the logic that they were designed with, and barring a glitch here or there that's all they do. I love the fact that we're starting to get more games where things happen that aren't so predictable, that aren't replicable from game to game; it makes everything so much more unique and memorable.

Most Creatively Evil thing done in Fallout

The choosen one, after bruttally assaulting his final temple trial with a spear, continues to bully all the inhabitants of Arroyo, stealing everything he can. Leaves the village and reaches Klamath, plays the good doggy, going about being a nice (kinda) guy, kills all the rats, buys him self a gun and whoops- shoots half the village. Continues to join the slavers guild and then turn on them when they refuse him work because hes such a sick phychopath who would rather kill than enslave.

Digs up all the graves, murders nearly everyone in town, anyone who will stand against him dies, including many innocent people, all the children he encounters are beaten in the groin until they die or are left half dead on the floor crippled for life. He continues his journey, leading the Mudoc mallitia against the slags, murdering everyone. Gecko find themselfs a nuclear meltdown while he is there, and many die in the ensuing riot.

Broken hills is steralised of all mutants and then of all normals as well - just because he was in the mood. Vault 15 is wiped out and the parts sold to NCR, nasty chemical warfare is used upon one particular mutant inhabitant. The slaves in the millitary base are all ahnihalated leaving only the crazed magician on the top floor beaten unconscious and with no 'pets' left.

The dragon is helped in taking over San Fran but is quickly turned upon and murdered shortly after the victory. Tanker vagrants are all murdered, just because they were washed up scum. Hubbologists slaughtered, their leader castrated with a burst fire weapon and then beaten about the head with a sledge hammer to death. New Reno quickly sees the Salvatory family gain power, but then quickly become the only inhabitants in the city as everyone else is murdered.

Vault City finds its gate gaurds murdered and the door smashed open to let in the outside world as much as possible. Quickly the happy vault citizens find themselfs with their first citizen murdered, beaten unconscious with a night stick and then loaded with ticking dynomite in her own office. Soon every place in the wastes has fallen prey to the Chosen one - bringer of doom.

Every major city is left barren, lifeless and scorched. Arroyo is left to burn, Hanukin, the last resident dies lying in a pool of his own blood next to the destroyed bridge. The villagers left to be experimented on with pre war viruses.

The wastes are destoryed, the only remains of life are the scavenging radiated creatures which roam the desert and the few bands of survivors who have dedicated their lives to hunting down and killing 'The Bringer of Doom" in the deserts of the Wastes. No life remains, except one small flicker. A small cybernetic robot, left inside an otherwise desolate millitary base as a testament. A record of all the evil in the world through the eyes of The Choosen One.

Cytat: Wow...I thought you were going to go and have some fun Wooz. You're restraining yourself though huh?

I think he'd rather not get hit by a flying canister of teargas or beat by some random riot control policeman.

Big city life in D.C.

So, as I promised, I bought this game and will review it. I've spent some time on it already, so here are my thoughts ATM - I tried to be unbiased on this as much as I could and judge it fairly (in other words - I sold out).

A) Let's start with the Vault - impressive graphic work here, I admit. Unfortunatly, this level is way too short. There aren't almost any sidequests and you are hand-held all the time. The grand escape from the Jewel is pretty decent, but the riot gear that guards wear doesn't quite fit in - feels like 90's too much. At least I got to kill the Overseer with a baseball bat - too bad his daughter was pissed on me (and didn't want to come with me - too bad, I'd hit her if I were the PC). Overall, I didn't like the pseudo-communistic paranoia going on in the Vault, but I guess it fits to an isolated cavehole, where people don't get out much. At all, actually.

OK, now the Vault quests - in other words, growing up. I didn't like it, because it's too fast. If you are going to show how your character grew up (and how the hell did he get these wicked speech skills at the age of 10 - goddamnit, that kid talks like he already finished and college - way out of place dialogue options), put some effort in it, play it out a while longer (at this pace, you don't even notice that you're a kid, since after 10 minutes you're suddenly 19). Or don't at all - after all, it gets boring during the second playthrough (yes Beth, some people enjoy playing games more than once). Guess they didn't learn from the Temple of Trials and Imperial Sewers. Anyway - storyline here is uninteresting mostly.

Dialogues and VO - first one is decent, but way below the original's, the second is mostly decent with some better parts. Neelson did a good job creating a good role model father, makes the player actually care about what happened to him; Here and there we get some skill-related options, which is quite nice. Overall - decent work.

Combat - one thing - VATS make you superhuman. I find it difficult to die, providing I find enough ammo (which is pretty scarce, but not too much - this was done properly IMO). The whole problem lies in the fact, that you don't loose AP when moving, so if you fuck up badly, you can still escape or hide. Oh, and SLOW-MO HAS TO GO. It makes combat too long and I don't need to watch every bullet fly into my opponent's head to rip it apart. Although it's fun to smash radroaches (another annoying thing - where would things this big hide in a space so tight like a Vault?) with a baseball bat, having to watch the same animation each time just gets in the way. Not everyone has hours of free time to play (not anymore, anyway).
This should be left to the player to decide.

*CUT* Unfortunatly, I gotta go, so I will continue this topic later.

AMG Review:

The wails of riot grrrls ages 7 to 77 echoed throughout the music world (and as a result, Internet message boards) when Le Tigre announced that their next release would be on Universal, the complete antithesis to riot grrrl pioneer Kathleen Hanna's ethos for over a decade. Longtime devotees waited with baited breath and questions of anticipation as their formidable heroes completed This Island. Would it be nearly as good as the band's previous endeavors? Was Universal picking them up merely to savor the last morsels of the electroclash movement they so sorely (and in some respects, thankfully) missed out on? The answer to both questions is yes and probably. This Island is just as strong, if not stronger, than anything in Le Tigre's oeuvre. J.D., Kathleen, and Johanna have crafted an album that stays true to their roots, the album they've been wanting to make since their first demos thanks to what could possibly be attributed to a most generous advance in their contract and the able assistance of the legendary Ric Ocasek behind the mixing desk. The album is punchier than previous releases but doesn't sacrifice their core aesthetics in favor of shifting trends. The stylish but visceral lyrics are still here in full force, especially in the searing "Seconds." A prom-tastic version of the Pointer Sisters' '80s classic "I'm So Excited" brings the album to a most fitting climax before the group hits the road again with its tour-diary "Punker Plus." It's definitely an album that's going to have the purists sighing with relief and have new converts checking out their back catalog for more. But the best part of all this is that it sounds like they're having fun, something that is sometimes noticeably and sorely vacant in what could be easily construed as a major boys club of laptops and analog rack gear. Of all the groups Universal could have chosen from this tired, depressing movement, they certainly chose the most honest and promising of the bunch and one whose full potential is just now starting to flourish.

Muzycznie natomiast pierwsza klasa. Doskonały "Smack" Patterson'a zdemolował publikę Poleciało następnie:
Dave 202 - Rain Against Her (Sean Tyas Remix)
Thomas Datt - 2v2 (Sean Tyas Remix)
Sean Tyas - Drop
Thomas Broanzwear - Resound (Sean Tyas Remix)
Beats Of Genesis vs. Legend B - Lost In Love (Sean Tyas Remix) [2007]
Dave 202 - Lost & Found
Simon Patterson - Smack
Paul Miller - Galaxy
Inertia - The System (Thomas Bronzwear Remix)
Nish - Blue Sunshine
Sean Tyas - Lif
Erik De Koning - Dream Flight (Mike Nichol Remix)
Armin van Buuren - Going Wrong (Sean Tyas Remix) to chyba nowość bo w radio ESKA puszczają jedynie oryginał

Luna raczej przeciętnie z kolei Max Graham i The Prophet rozgrzali publikę do czerwoności. Poleciała masa hardstylowej klasyki:
Yoji Biomehanika - Techy Techy
Charlie G - Synchronicity (Joey V remix)
Luna Meets Trilok and Chiren - We Control The Sound

- minusy

Dość mizerny występ Liebigna i Moniki Kruze. Widać Krzyśki miały wczoraj słaby dzień, bo jeden nie przyjechał, a drugi zamulił

* "Brian Kagen pick: "Yoshinkai - Beyond the "Hard Style" Label" by Susan Dalton"

"Hard style" — "martial martial art" — "action not philosophizing" — "riot police training" — "combat Aikido" — "small, devastating circles"--Yoshinkai Aikido had been described to me in fairly intimidating terms but, if I was going to research it, I needed to try it.

I knew that Gozo Shioda Sensei, Yoshinkai's founder, had been incredibly powerful and effective although he weighed less than 110 pounds and was under five feet tall. And I knew that he had been awarded a 9th dan in Aikido. (Terada Sensei, who had also trained with O-Sensei, helped to start Yoshinkai.)"

* ""Aikido is communication" by Bruce Baker"Bruce Baker

I see so many people writing about what aikido is, or what an aikido practitioner is, but what we are practicing is ... communication. We are learning to communicate and learning to understand the signals of communication.

I have this stupid dizziness that makes me sit out of the class more often than I like, and now that it is advanced, I have no choice but to watch class when I can get there, and it is so clear to me that each and every lesson is an attempt to resolve various problems between individuals. If someone is unreasonable and wants to resolve their differences with violence, we try to communicate our message that we can be more violent than the attacker but we are holding back our temper in order to communicate a message of peace and harmony. Depending upon the comprehension of the violence put forth in the situation, and the comprehension of the people in the room, we will attempt to use the least amount of force to resolve the situation.

"AKILISI POHIVA

I kind of feel sorry for Akilisi, he had the right motives for his whole democracy movement. I support the movement myself but somewhere along the way the TONGA BUSINESS ASSOCIATION joined the group and their intentions were not democracy related.

I have a theory that what Akilisi had planned was actually not what happened. My theory is that Akilisi wanted to inflict damage but just by smashing windows and the like. He knew that any more damage to the shops in Nuku'alofa would not only damage the economy but damage his reputation.

The message wasn't carried through to the rest of the movement (ie the bussinessmen) and they had their own agenda. This whole thing had nothing to do with politics, it was all business!!!!!! Everyone knows that the people in the TBA paid the rioters but then to torch the buildings which was way over the limit. The message would have been clear with the riot and the looting. These businessmen (Tu'i, Ofa, Sangster) oddly enough form the committee of the Tonga Business Association. The TBA tried to get more businesses involved in their group (ie Jones, Ramanlal, Sevele, Prema, Chinese and the list goes on and on) but they refused to join the TBA. Oddly enough, whose shops were destroyed during the riot?? The group who didn't want to join the TBA.

The only reason that the TBA are involved in the democracy is to try to get into parliment to pass laws which prevent overseas investors in forming their businesses in Tonga. They don't want any competition from overseas because they know that they can't compete with them. What they have told everyone that the Chinese are not saving their money in Tonga is bull. The Chinese alone make up more than half of all of the savings in Tongan banks. They've invested their money in Tonga and improving the economy and the TBA are telling lies that all of their money are going back to China (more lies). The Chinese are providing the competition that we need in Tonga to produce a good economy. If I go to a Tongan store at two in the morning to buy stuff, I'll yell at the house and they'll probably tell me to piss off. If I go to a Chinese store and knock on the door at two in the morning, they'll gladly serve me.

Proof is when Uliti Uata wrote a letter to that Japanese company who wanted to start up a shipping line in Tonga to don't come to Tonga for various reasons. Who else owns a shipping line in Tonga that has a ship called the "Olovaha". I guess he was trying to scare off any new competition.

What happened was dumb and stupid as these businessmen didn't think everything through. While everyone's shops have been burned down, overseas aid will eventually come in and build new and even better buildings for these business. While, Ian Jones and Shoreline will have new and state of the art buildings, Maseia and Uliti's buildings will continue to rot as they have for the last ten or so years.

Akilisi had the vision but his sheep had other ideas. I can't see Akilisi digging a way out this mess and all of this because a few businessmen were too greedy. As much as I'd hate to say it, too much damage has been done and it's too much for Akilisi to fix.

The democracy movement will need a new leader and there should be no involvement of any of the businessmen who started this mess in the first place.

Mało znane,polecane.

TUFF - AMERICAN HAIR BAND

Yeah, well I've been up and been down, town to town with several bands,
Then tortured for ten long years by critics, agents and the A&R man, and some bandwagon fans.
It's time to stand up, fight back, be proud and once again be free,
So if you want a piece of me, come and get it!

Kurt Cobain is gone but I'm back
Wearing leather pants and a backwards hat
Guitars slung low
Where the down boys go
The night trains back so on with the show
I'm Metal Health
And dressed to thrill
I'm an SMF with the looks that kill
I rocked and rolled, n' long hair is back
And I grew up, singing Strutter, And Back, in Black
I'm going back to eighty-nine
I went Platinum zero times
You're in the jungle sweet child o'mine
I want another piece of that cherry pie

Chorus #1: (Oooooohhhhhh)
They call 'em hairbands
Leather jacket in black
Throw your hands in the air
Yeah we're bringing it back
N' Say (Shout, Shout) At the Devil again
And Say (Shout, Shout) At the Devil my friend
So Say (Shout, Shout) never letting it end and say (Shout, Shout, Shout, Shout) yeah…(Bad Medicine)

I like Old Van Halen and Hanoi Rocks
Black n' Blue and Britny Fox
Guns n' Roses, Motley Crue
When Def Leppard rocked and Skid Row ruled
Yeah, Ratt went round n' round
Rocking out in Boston, get loud in Chi-town
Vandenberg, Priest, Dok-ken, Kix
Throwing Faster Pussycat in the mix (P-P-P-P-P-Pussycat)
Give me L.A. Guns & The Dangerous Toys
Quiet Riot, Bang Tango & Bullet Boys
Love Johnny Crash grunge bands are trash
I like C.C. DeVille, Mick Mars, and Slash

Chorus: #2

Breakdown:
Yeah, I saw your grunge band, staring at your shoes on stage, wearing that dirty flannel shirt,
when you gonna learn dirtball, you just can't f**k with Twisted Sister.
"What are you going to do with your life"?

I'm an American hairband
Watch me rock
You can raise your hands
Or you can suck my c**k
Heavy Metal God
I'm a Pin-up boy
I'm the singer from Tuff not Pretty Boy Floyd
Super loud and Super wild
Sebastian Bach is youth gone wild
Diamond Dave and Nikki Sixx
I wanna see Tommy Lee back spinning those sticks
Up all night, gonna sleep all day
I love girls; girls, girls and I love L.A.
I won't waste my breath, but here's a clue
Give Pearl Jam & Eddie a big f**k you
Who cares about Weezer and the Screeming Trees
When we got White Lion
And of course the Sleeze Beez
If you wanna rock n' roll then read my lips
Let's shout it out loud
For a band named KISS

Chorus: (Oooooohhhhhh)
They call 'em hairbands
Wearing leather and black
So throw your hands in the air
Now we're bringing it back
N' Say (Shout, Shout) At the Devil again
And Say (Shout, Shout) At the Devil my friend
So Say (Shout, Shout) never letting it end and say (Shout, Shout, Shout, Shout) yeah,

I'm a hairband wanted dead or alive
Singing (Shout, Shout, Shout, Shout)
I wanna rock n' roll in the still of the night
Say (Shout, Shout, Shout, Shout)
Gonna take you down to the Paradise city
And (Shout, Shout, Shout, Shout)
Everybody let's sing talk dirty to me

I NA KOLANA!!!!

Byrd ready for Golota

BY MIKE BRUDENELL

Knight Ridder Newspapers

DETROIT - (KRT) - Wily Joe Byrd is ready to counterattack if boxing bad boy Andrew Golota resorts to underhanded tactics next week at Madison Square Garden.

"If he freaks out, we'll take it to another level," said Byrd, father and trainer of IBF heavyweight champion Chris Byrd of Flint. "Chris will hit him from all different angles. My prediction - we're going to win the fight."

Byrd (37-2, 20 KOs) will defend his title April 17 against Golota (38-4, 31 KOs) in New York on a card that features three other world championship fights.

Byrd's southpaw style is expected to frustrate the bigger Golota, who has been disqualified for hitting below the belt in the past. But Joe Byrd, a veteran corner man, isn't worried about Golota's reputation.

"First, it's up to the referee to do his job and control the bout," Joe Byrd said. "And, of course, he can't hit you there if he can't hit you."

Byrd was referring to Golota's penchant for low blows, which got him disqualified in two fights against former heavyweight champion Riddick Bowe in 1996. The first disqualification set off a riot in the ring at the Garden, resulting in injury to several police officers and a dozen or more arrests.

"We will take Golota to school - confuse him," Joe Byrd said. "We'll also make sure Chris' cup fits right, so the cup doesn't go into his groin. That's what hurts you."

The New York State Athletic Commission won't take any chances that the fight might get out of hand. Commission chairman Ron Scott Stevens has spoken to both camps.

"We will not tolerate any nonsense," Stevens said. "We will enforce our rules, and any conduct deemed unfit for this event will be dealt with quickly and the consequences will be felt."

Stevens wasn't available to talk about security, but it is expected to be extra tight.

Tuesday in Chicago, Golota's trainer said he had talked with his boxer about his behavior against Byrd, who is making the second defense of his title.

"We talked about doing the right stuff," said Sam Colona, who guided Golota in his first 22 and last two professional fights. "He realizes his career is on the line. I don't talk about it every day to him, but I point out that he can't act the way he has in the past."

Colona promised to put a stop to any Golota infractions. At the same time, Colona said, "if it happens, he won't have meant to do it."

Chris Byrd, who is training in Las Vegas, is looking forward to meeting Golota, who quit after the second round of his fight against Mike Tyson at the Palace in 2000. The bout was later declared a no-contest after Tyson tested positive for marijuana.

"The guy can fight, but I'm willing to take the risk," Byrd said of Golota, a native of Poland who now lives in Chicago. "I'll be fully prepared for anything, but he's promised everyone that nothing will happen."

Byrd, who expects to weigh 212 pounds for his title defense, has been running five miles a day through the mountains outside Las Vegas and sparring with Malcolm Tann (10-1), a big, strong heavyweight.

"He's been pushing me around, being rough," Byrd said. "I'm prepared for Golota. It should be fun."

Most fighters haven't found Golota much fun, particularly at close quarters. But Byrd, considered one of the good guys of boxing, can't wait to step into the ring with him.

"I feel strong and I'm really peaking," Byrd said. "Maybe I'm a little too confident, but I'm going to run this guy around. He'd better be in shape."

Golota likely will weigh around 238-240.

"I'll have to move fast against Byrd," Golota said. "This is my last chance (for the championship), and that's why I'm taking this fight very seriously. This is a great opportunity to show what I can really do."

"Mikey here. Since I'm saving my energy for tomorrow night, I had some time on my hands to write a true, funny ? story for anyone who's interested: In the Summer of 1996, I was in NYC for a month of training at Dean Witter. They put us up at the Southgate Hotel right across from Madison Square Garden. One night I noticed this HUGE fucker getting interviewed in the lobby of the hotel. He was a big white guy with a shaved head and a rather mean-looking face. He looked like a founding member of the no-neck club. I had no idea who he was, but I figured he was a football player or something. Out of curiosity, I decided to stick around to find out who he was. I was standing about 20 feet from him and during the interview he looked directly at me like he wanted to come over and kick my ass. (I'm no pushover, but I could tell I would be NO match for this guy) I decided that it wasn't that important to meet this guy, whoever he was. The next night, a couple of guys from my training class knocked on my hotel room door and asked if I wanted to see the Riddick Bowe fight across the street. I had no idea who he was fighting, but my reaction was "HELL YEAH I WANNA SEE THE FIGHT!" We walked across the street, paid $50 for tickets from some guy selling them on the street, and went inside. When we got inside, the place wasn't very full so we snuck down into the more expensive section. I immediately noticed 2 things: First, myself and the 3 guys I was with were pretty much the only white people there except for a bunch of VERY obnoxious people running around shouting, blowing a whistle, and waiving what I believe was the flag of Poland. Some of them weren't even wearing shirts!!! The second thing I noticed was that indefinable "buzz" in the air that something was about to go down. After the preliminary fights were done, the flag wavers went nuts as Bowe's challenger was introduced. I couldn't see the guy's face, so I looked up at the monitor and said to myself..."HOLY SHIT....THAT'S THE GUY WHO WANTED TO KICK MY ASS LAST NIGHT AT THE HOTEL!" Yup...for some reason, Andrew Golota was staying at the Southgate Hotel. We all know what happened after Golota got disqualified, but I can tell you as someone who was there the videos you see on youtube don't show one TENTH of what was actually going on...all hell was breaking loose out in the stands as well. There were about 50 of these Polish Andrew Golota fans and they were pretty much all getting their asses kicked. One guy was completely naked, wearing only a hat and running shoes, sprinting through the stands inside Madison Square Garden, getting chased by about 20 rioters. Thankfully, no one bothered us...I think it was pretty obvious we were just 4 businessmen taking in a boxing match and not there to cause any trouble. After about 20 LONG minutes, it had quieted down enough to where we felt we could get up and leave without being associated with the Golota fans. When we got outside, we first noticed about 50cops standing outside in full riot gear...doing no good whatsoever standing outside as the place erupted!!! Then saw the same naked dude sprinting down the street being chased by a whole mob of people. Then, I saw Golota, gloves off, fighting people. Guys would come up to him, take a swing at him, miss, and then Golota would knock them completely out with a quick jab! We watched this for about 2 minutes as a whole line of NYPD cops stood 100 feet away and did nothing.! Amazing. We went up to our rooms for a while and then went back downstairs to the hotel bar. Seated on a barstool, with his back to the bar was Golota. He had a t-shirt on, but was still wearing his boxing trunks. Straddling him was a mid-20's chick from our training class. She was wearing a dress, which she had pulled up, and no underwear. Golota had his hands all over her bare ass and she had her tongue down her throat. I can't remember her name, but I can tell you this: She was the UGLIEST chick you'd ever see...she had a decent body, but her face looked like Michael Douglas!!!! BUTT UGLY!! We saw the two of them leave together and she showed up to training class about 2 hours late the next day...we found out through the grapevine that he banged her. Sorry for the length, but I just had to tell this story!!!"

Voyage 34 - Ulubiona faza podróży

Phase One:

This remarkable, sometimes incoherent transcript ilustrates the phantasmagoria of fear, terror, grief, exaltation and finally breakdown. Its highlights have been compressed on this recording to make their own disquieting points.

The time is 9.30 PM, one hour after the participants have eaten sugar cubes saturated with LSD.

We hear Brian and his fellow travellers observing their gradual transformation.

Brian's been amusing his friends by chewing on some plastic flashbulbs.

Brian's mood is gradually changing. He orders all of his friends into another room and closes the door.

He sits alone on the wooden floor, visible only by the dim light shining from the bathroom. He talks to himself.

The time is now 1 am. Brian is unable to snap his fingers and terminate the trip, which continues.

He sobs, as his joy turns to fear.

Brian's rocky journey ended twelve hours after it so innocently had begun. He was shattered by it.

This young man never had a bummer in some 33 LSD trips. Every one of them was a delight. Everything under control. He needed only to snap his fingers and down he came, any time. But on Voyage 34 he finally met himself coming down an up-staircase, and the encounter was crushing.

Phase Two:

Well I never think that when I'm twenty-one - I think of tomorrow or this minute...

And hope there's a tomorrow, 'cause I don't like what's going on in the world. I'm scared of that, more than drugs. I'm not afraid of them.

I'm just... I'm just scared you know?

We're told that perhaps a million Americans, most of them young people, have made the LSD experience part of their lives. Is this a social menace and a cause for alarm? I don't think so. I see nothing less than the speedy evolution of a new, indigenous religion.

I'm just... I'm just scared you know?

Everybody is... pretty uptight.

I'm just... I'm just scared you know?

The LSD religionist knows; that the temple of worship is the human body, that the shrine must be located, not in a public place, but in the privacy of your own home, and that the congregation cannot extend beyond your family and your closest friends...

...And then the paintings on the walls were dripping. You know... you could see the paint coming down like this, just like if somebody was hosing it off at the top and all the paint was running down onto the floor. And it was so pretty... they were running. Like they were melting. It was so groovy...

It was like a... it was like a massage. It was so... it was so groovy, you can't believe how groovy... it wasn't just... oh wow! You know it was like... it was like... it was like a caress. You know kind of... and you could really feel the hot and the cold. You could feel hot "hot" and cold "cold", you know and... and each little drop that came out was a different one, you know... it wasn't.. I don't think the water must mix inside. It must come out hot and cold or something, 'cos you could feel hot cold hot cold all over you. It was really groovy.

I guess... it was.. I guess the world for it is sensual... you know just.. your body just oh! It grooved.

For psychedelics are stimulators of ideas and feelings, but generally these ideas and feelings would express constructively rather than violently or destructively.

If it were possible during a riot to spray small doses of LSD from a helicopter into the air... People would soon quieten...

Is this trip really necessary?

enjoy
